I'm new to this site but i have a 97 gsr and i am looking to put the 98-01 front bumper on it but i'm curious if it will fit. I have seen a ton of these done but is the hood the same and the fenders and lights and will all the brackets line up the same? Someone please answer this so i will know what to buy. thanks!

 

No, it is not a clean swap. The headlights are slightly larger on 98-01, so I know you have to get the newer headlights, but the hood and the fenders can stay. I'm not totally sure about mounting brackets and hardware though.
