hi i just bought a 2000 integra - manual. real nice. love it. but it iseems to be running cold. i live in nj...it gets to around 25 or 30 at night around now. were not talking arctic conditions. but the car is taking a reallly long time to warm up. i had a 90 integra before, and that would only take like 5 - 10 min to warm up. after about a half hour of driving, the needle barely budges off the C. Idles at around 1500, and takes a lot of driving for it to get down around 8-900. Im not really an expert by any meas on cars so can anyone help me out?< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";

you should check your heat transmitter. :) replace your truck parts if needed. :) < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";

ya if you have truck parts in there deffinatly replace them.

also check you boat parts too. (im not sure what antidote is
thinking other than "hey i need to put adds all over the place").

untill then...

im betting on a thermostat that is sticking open.

P.S. get a genuine acura thermostat the cheep ones warp and stick open more often :)

also take a look at that radiator cap make sure the seal on it is good.

usually those cause the poor thing to over heat.

yea its really odd. if the car sits, it will warm up fine. as soon as i start driving it it goes down to the line for C. But the car runs about how it should, idles around 800 rpm, and i get hot air. I think i may replace the thermostat tho anyway, thanks for the suggestion. The only thing is the thermostat on the 2000 integra is not in the same spot i t was on my '90. It seems difficult to access. does anyone have any experience with replacing this? it seems like i would have to do some disassembling, which i do not think i am equipped to do : / < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";
