I have no idea what you said all I got was exhaust and flowmaster muffler. No your flowmaster muffler is giving you no hp gain. Yes you might want an aftermarket exhaust. You won't notice much of a difference in HP until you put on the Headers though. do that with your intake and exhaust and you could be talking 20whp

headers, exhaust, and intake are a must. Muffler alone=no more HP

thanx guys. well i finally got my exhaust to gether. i looks and sounds really good. i put a meagan racing head and high flow. the cat back portion of it im not sure on the brand (bought on ebay). the with the head and high flow. right now i have a more pressing issue with it though. i am having problems passing my emmisions. i took the high flow off and put a factory replacement cat on and i cant seem to get my CO level down. new jersey limit is 0.7 and im hitting 1.4. any ideas on lowering my CO level.

In colorado they take 4 measurements 1) HC limits for my 99 civic are 1.2 GPM (wifes 2002 v6 mazda mpv 4.0) 2) CO limits civic 20.0 GPM, mpv 20.0 GPM. 3) CO2 no specified limit civic hit 266.92 GPM, mpv hit 397.89 GPM. 4)NOx limits civic 3.0 GPM, mpv 9.0 GPM. What are the limits in NJ? I have a swapped B18C6 in by civic, full Greddy exaust which I have to dyno de-tune for emissions(the engine not the exaust).nothing sucks more than spending money to make your car go slower. what are all your readings?Edited by: AKinDen

< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </>The levels that I am getting on my exhaust are:

standardread ing

NO 1088 933

HC 141110

CO% .791.52

As you can see my CO% is a little high. I really do not want to take the car to the dealership but if I have to I guesse I will. These readings are for New Jersey.

Hopefully soon I will be having pictures of the exhaust and other things that i have done with the car.< =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </>< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </>< =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </>

Lets take a step back. What year and model car do you have and what are your engine/emission related mods? Our testing in colorado gives limits and readings. Our CO test is not in percentages, it's in GPM which my guess is "gross parts per million". Is there anyway you could scan and post the inspection report? Photo shop out any sensitive info of course. If you have trouble posting it PM me and I'll give you my e-mail so I can see it.
Also are they keeping the RPM's low? If V-TEC engages during my cars test I'm screwed. Edited by: AKinDen

AND 1 little miss adjustment on spark plug gap/timing/grade of fuel can toss 1 off the scales.

maybe a detune up is in order to get you to pass that emmisions test.then reset your gaps and timing for regular driving after the pass
