About 2 weeks ago i purchased a CAI for my 01' CL-S and had it professionally installed. I defintely noticed the HPgain and my MPG increased a little. About a week later, It doesn't seem to be doing anything. I don't notice the extra HP anymore and my gas mileage has gone way down and has actually gotten much worse than even before I got the intake. I haven't been pushing the engine hard since before mylast fill-up, just normal driving. I know its still working because I can hear the filter suck up air when I drive around for the first few minutes. I dont know if weather could have something to do with it or not. But has anyone experienced the same problem as this or is there a reason why this could happen? And does anyone know if AEM would honor their warranty for a problem like this one?I'm so mad that I spent almost $400 just for some useless piece of junk.I'm seriously considering putting the stock back on and never doing any mods again. Thanks to anyone with info on this matter.
