<div>'95 Integra GRS, B18C1/JDM-B16, JRSC, VAFC

Ran geat until the gear/pulley on the water pump popped off and the
timing jumped, leaving the intake cam 28 degrees retarded. *poof*

Anyway, the car sat for 6 months til I had the time and money, took the
head to the best machine shop in the area, put it all back together,
everything checks out, compression, no CEL's, had to replace 2 coolant
temp sensors that I forgot to take out of the head and the machine
shop lost but otherwise all the electronics are the same as when it ran
great.

When I fire it up, it idles semi normal, fluctuates a little but not
wild like when a FITV gets unscrewed internally...I'll worry about the
idle later (unless it's related somehow). Throttle response seems
normal...until it warms up then the idle drops to about 450 RPM and
flat out will not tach up at any throttle position. The VAFC is
reporting TPS values within tolerance (and it does respond normally
when cold).</div>

note: the 2-wire coolant temp sensor that feeds the ECU is new but from
a civic si...been going to honda dealer for head parts and Acura dealer
for anything else that's a dealer part...could it be that the 1.6 civic
ECT sensor gives a diff range than the 1.8 Acura ECT sensor? I
hate to buy parts in "bingo swap" mode, but at this point that's all I
know to do. Need advice before dropping more $$. Thanks!!

Figured it out.

Poorly bracketed/mounted alternator and JRSC idler pulley was making
the SC spin erratically....very rich at idle. Too rich to respond
once warmed up. We fabricated the missing bracket that
disappeared at the machine shop (when I took the head in...oops, my
bad) and hooked up a bottom bracket that apparently hadn't been on for
quite a while, did a little tuning on the fuel curve w/ the VAFC and
*poof* ...... drivable.

Still not perfect, but good enough to take it to a more qualified tuner than I to get it "right"

Thanks to all who read and tried to come up w/ any ideas to this ummm
odd problem. Even though I got few responses here and elsewhere,
posting all over the place got me thinking more out of the box than
usual...and doing the work w/ fewer beers than usual
