Hey folks,

So my hood is is need of some rust repair work ($1500 worth, which includes $650 for a new hood from the dealer plus prep and painting). I'm wondering if I can simply swap it out for a carbon fiber hood and never worry about rust again.

Having trouble locating one for my '02 EL though... my googling is only turning up results for cars up to '01.

I called a local shop today... they can get one for for an '01 for $1000, plus installation.

There must be a better source out there.

Any help appreciated!

Does anyone know if mk2 and mk3 supras have the same hood size? Every where I go that sells carbon fiber hoods say it fits years 82-90. This doesnt sound right. Im not sure though, does anyone know fpr certain?Thanks _______=== XRumer 5.0 Palladium RULEZ! ===

Yeah, it would be a nice upgrade..make sure you can stil use your factory latches though..
