Changing valve cover gaskets on my 90 legend. whats the Best sealant/cement for the job?



changing front coil spings. can i use strut spring comp inthe middle of
spring for compresing or will this damage the new springs??



oops two questions in one that are not related.

I have replaced the valve cover gaskets on these motors. They are just glorified rubber o rings, but more rectagular shaped. I did not use any sealant. just clean the old gasket areas well. The covers are aluminum, so be creful with the bolt pressure you use. Good luck. I'm no help on your spring question.
