I've owned many vehicles and I've done my share of working
on them, so I'm not an idiot when it comes to cars. The RSX is
the first vehicle I've owned that is virtually impossible to replace
the headlight bulb! The manual doesn't show any description,
and is very vague on what to do. This is the most idiotic, stupid
, lame brained design Imaginable for headlight replacement!
unless you have hands the size of a 4 year old, it is impossible
to work on. Let alone, actually see what you are doing. The
manual is useless. The internet doesn't have anything. I guess
I'll have to pay the dealer's ransom to get it done.I love
everything else about this car, but this headlight issue has me
ready to throw my toolbox through the windshield. Does
ANYONE know an easier way to replace the bulb? Thanks.

Well as A Tech at a Dealership I shouldnt be telling you any of this I should make you ( pay our ransom ) for our knowlege and skill but I wont because its fun to have you do it yourselfers come in after trying evereything and breaking half the parts then paying tripple the amount you would have if you just brought it in the first place.

Anyways I was just messing with you. Ok soI can feel your pain on this there pretty tight. Depending on the model if its an S or not the washer fluid resivoir will be on theleft or right. But its in the wayno matter what so you need to remove the 10mm that holds it to the core support and pull it up and out. Depending on left or right bulb you may need to remove the battery thats pretty self forward. Then get a flash light or do it inlots of light. Look in and disconnect the connector then pull the rubber seal out once that is off there will be a metal bracket type thing that is clipped to hold the bulb in place push in and down on that and the bulb will be free. When you go to install make sure your bulb is in correct there are two tabs on your bulb that are offset makesure they line up with the holes just kind of look through the lens front and see. GOOD LUCK!

Hey RSXDude, BConn's advice was right on the mark. I put two headlights in last night in about 40 minutes (way too long, but - - ). The only thing I'd have to add is that you have move the power steering resevoir and someof the wiring harness on the passenger sideas well. Knowing about the clip and using a mirror let me finish the job without paying the ransom ! Thanks to BConn.
