Man that sucks. i hate crooks.
first of all are you sure the 96 car will work with a 2k ecu? are you getting ecu power? (check to see if there is a check engine light.) ok so it is the right 1 and you have ecu power. do you have any codes? no codes and no spark sounds like a coil. distubiters fail all too often in these cars. did the timing belt break and is no longer spinning the dist? pop the oil fill cap and have a buddie crank on it and see if a cam is spinning. hmm do you have a upset aftermarket alarm? well i hope this steers you in a direction that will help. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </> |
< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> Check your distributor and coil I had a similar problem bought a coil was the coil couldn't return it cause its a electrical part so I bought a new distributor mine was locked up wouldn't spin put it on car still would crank timing belt had jumped was getting a reddish orange spark so put a new belt on and back in timing car is ready now < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-41"; urchinTracker(); </> |
