yeah do that if you have a slot to put the key in, but if you don't then try push and hold the select/reset or tripdometer button in and turn the key to on position for a few sec, the light should go off.

Yea, cool it is a sticky, it is a ploy by Honda to get poor souls to waste their $$$ for nothing! We can do all the maintenance required ourselves! It should be called the money making light that comes on!

 

Well I also don't know the maintenance criteria of this acura lights however, I have gone through the manuals provided by the concerning company, which I read to get some idea...

 

I resently had a problem with my indicator for my car, as well as the horn. I took down my sterring wheel and the SRS lights came on and since then its on and also when i replaced my indicator the warning light then came on how can i get them off.

 

Maintenance required lights are on my TL (blinking at startup) to remember that oil change is needed ... manual provides instructions on how to reset it ... turned the key in the accessory position, press and hold the Select button and the reset button (for meters), turn on the ignition, while continuing to hold the button for 10 seconds (beep) and the lights will not come back the next boot.
