Default How do you replace the horn button on 94 integra

It the rt side button on my 94 Integra broke off. I order a replacement part. I naviely thought I could just snap the new button cap over the expose spring and horn contact.

But, the button came with more than just a cap. It needs plug into two different connectors.

Do I have to take apart the steering wheel? Or pull out the remain part of the old button and snap the new one in place?
