The full error message from my OBD II scanner says: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2).

So the questions are:
1) Does this mean that the actual O2 sensor is bad?
2) Where is this sensor located?

I'm guessing that the sensor is bad and also that it is maybe after the catalytic converter, but not sure. Are there any online sources for parts diagrams?

Car is a 96 3.2 TL with 92K miles. Other than routine maintenance, this is the only thing that has gone wrong with this car.

Thanks in adavance!

I just read your message and i worked for a muffler shop and changed them out all the time. Yes, that indicates that th O2 sensor is not functioning properly and needs to be changed. Bank 1 is the circuit and sensor 2 is the number two sensor. U have 2 of them one is located either up by the head on the pre-catalytic convertor infront of the radiator or it is located just past the oil pan. Ur second one should be just down the pipe from that one. But, yes it is bad.
