We have enjoyed XM Radio in our 05 MDX Touring for as long as we've owned it. Last night after a long snowy drive we turned off the car. When restared about 1 hour later XM Radio wasn't even an option we could select.
The external XM button did nothing. When we went to the on-screen view again - XM Radio was no longer there. Only FM 1& 2, AM and CD.
Any suggestions what went wrong and how we can fix it?

Just tried both removing the radio fuse and disconnecting (and reconnecting) the negative battery terminal lead. When I disconnected the battery the XM options reappeared but didn't work. I restarted the car and the XM tabs (on the screen) disappeared again.

 

i don't think there's any other option for sure...
