<DIV>So I posted before about the IACV in my 1987 Acura Integra but I didn't get much response back, but I did end up getting the car working and able to shift into neutral without dying</DIV>

<DIV>it's about 6 degrees outside today (i live in alaska so it's regularly this cold) and I started up the integ and started down the road. when I got to the end of the street I noticed the clutch pedal was a little stiff but I figured it was just because it was cold outside</DIV>

<DIV>I pressed the pedal down with a little more force simply because it felt like i needed that extra force in order to get the pedal to go down</DIV>

<DIV>suddenly the pedal is no longer connected.</DIV>

<DIV>I checked underneath and the pedal came off of the hydraulic connector of the car (at least I think it's hydraulic, im not a mechanic so if you've heard otherwise let me know, this just looks like a hydraulic connector)</DIV>

<DIV>is there anything special I should know about reconnecting the pedal? i'm not really sure how it came off, and right now it's still sitting down at the end of the road until I can get my other car to tow it back to my garage</DIV>

<DIV>thecable is still taut so i don't think that thecable snapped but honestly i don't know much about this so any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated</DIV>

Replace the cable assembly with a new one. The cable may be frozen from water penetration.
