behind the glove box

pull the 2 screws that hold the box hinge to the dash.

the door open stops will fight you a little eithor remove them or "gently" twist the box (counterclockwise) till it comes out.

then look for the little white door 2 inch by 5 inch
pop that guy open and there is the first of the 2 filters

pull 1 out then slide the other to the opening and pull it out.

drop both filters out of there sub frames.

reinstall.

I have an 06 TL and can't find the cabin filter door behind the glove box either.

I even removed the glove compartment door to gain better access.

I have seen pictures of the location of the Honda Accord cabin filter location and assumed the TL location would be similar but on my car it is not.

Any advice or pictures will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I finally called the dealer. In order to replace,a access hole must be cut. I
made appointment; purchased filter ,autohaus AZ, half dealer cost.
Took45minutes,cost 80$,now i can do the job myself. At 19000 miles the
filter was filthy. good luck.dfkruger.

Thanks for the info. I do have a couple of questions.....

Do I understand correctly that there is not an access hole from the factory to change the cabin filter?

Where did they cut the hole and is it something that you could do yourself? Did they have to cut metal?

Where is Autohaus, AZ ?

Thanks,

Don

In my 2006 acura tl there was no way to access the cabin air filter which
lives behind the glove box. The dealer cut the access hole. Talk to your
dealer service rep. Autohaus AZ parts on line.Only way to go.&nb sp;&nb sp;&nb sp;
glad i could help.DF Kruger
