I own a 1998 1.6 and the blower fan is making really loud noises?? I have been to several shops to find out what the problem is, and everyone says it's buring out?? Is it true, or is something just stuck in the fan causing the noise. Anouther question related to the blower fan is, is it possible to change one without taking the dash out. I own a 1990 BMW 325i, and I can access the blower fan through the vertical firewall in the engine compartment. I don't own a repair manual for the 1.6, so I'm not sure how to tackle this problem. The car runs great, but the fan is driving me crazy. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks....
