3.2 TL AC & heat auto control

My 3.2 TL climate control does not work well. In full auto the fan never goes above low no matter what the temp differential is. The control is also inaccurate unless I run the AC compressor. Does anyone know the control logic between the sun sensor, indoor sensor and the HVAC control?
