I have an 1998 Acura 2.3CL (5-speed). The car has been in 2 accidents in the past (everything was fixed). It has 82,600 miles on it.
Last year, I replaced the ignition switch, tires, brakes, did wheel alignment, tune-up (replaced switches), cost me over 1K. Last weekend, I took it to the Pepboys for an oil-change and they recommended I do a tune-up (belts they said this time), replace the coolant, replace the serpentine belts, replace the radiator and the radiator hose. I have not yet changed the timing belt on it. Money is obviously tight, however, should I put more money into the car v/s selling it ? Also, does anyone know of reliable people in the Morris County NJ area for Acura repair ? |
