i have a 97 acura cl 3.0 and now my check engine light comes on and gives me a P0758 code meaning shifft solenoid b malfunction. the car is basically just turningn off when its trying to shift from like 2nd to 3rd sometimes, not always though. i know my tranny is gonna need to be replaced but im trying to put that off for a bit longer, is it possible to just replace the solenoid? would that be just as expensive as getting a junk yard tranny? i need help, my boyfriend is a tech but he doesnt deal with auto transmissions so we are kinda screwed. any help will be greatly appreciated!!! thanks
