Hey...i'm a proud owner of a 05' Acura TSX...it currently has 200 hp...was wondering, does anyone know if there's a way to increase the horsepower by one's-self?

Luv my car and has good pick up but would luv more... I understand the 06' TSX's now have 205hp...but am wondering does 5 more hp really make that much of a difference?? hmmmmmmm.....

Thanks!

every little bit makes a difference...the easiest way to get some cheap power is simple things like intake and exhaust.

Horsepower isn't everything. A cheap way to be faster is to drop a few pounds from the car. Change the hp to weight ratio.

Most ppl tend to replace the restrictive factory airbox with an aftermarket intake system or a simple drop in air filter for starters.

<div style="text-align: left;">aside from installing auto body parts to make your car faster, you should try to lessen the load of your car and maybe, drop the aircon if you can. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></></div>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";

</span>Interesting thread guys. In my opinion, it's must a
necessary prerequisite to check whether the engine is in good shape or not.
Switching to turbo type engines also helps. Some people also get good results
changing the oil and replacing the air filter. Hope this little info helps!

as far as HP go, intake, header, exhausts, thermo spacers, lighter pulleys, port and polish. those all add a few HP at a time but every bit does help. turbos are for the real enthusiasts as they require extensive work and most aftermarket kit will reduce engine longevity and well as gas mileage, if you're not sure what adds HP then turbos are probably not for you.

dont deal with andy's auto sport, terrible customer service, bunch of assholes and you wont get your order for about half a year

Razzi, may i help you to give your order to andysautosports? they will give response to you as soon as possible.

sorry for this inconvencience.

For starters, I-H-E will be the first step. Meaning change your Intake, Headers, and Exhausts and it will give you some horsepower and extra power.
