Has anyone attempted to dump mp3's on a DVD disk and play them without an issue?

Thx.

I am not sure what you mean, but I burn songs onto DVD discs and play them in my stock nonner's radio.

If you bought the mp3 file (ex. i-Tunes), it's legal to copy to other media and personally use. Copying only becomes a problem when a person redistributes.

I don’t see it being a problem as long as your DVD player has the support to play MP3’s. MP3 is just the file format so as long as your player has support for that file format it should work just fine and as long as your player has support for DVD’s and not just CD’s. I wouldn’t worry about the legality of it no one is going to come after you for putting mp3’s on a DVD unless you are trying to make cash from it.

never tried it but if it is for your own use, it's no problem.

it should be fine, playing it on a dvd, if you're worried about having it played on your dvd player. bought a dvd player along with some auto body parts last time, so i can relate. :)

but if the issue is the legality of burning those songs in a dvd, dave is right.. if you bought those songs on line (iTunes) , that should be fine. copyright laws are not in your way then. but if you just got it from a CD (even if you own the CD) or downloaded it free, you should be aware that it's one form of piracy. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-41";

Acura models with DVD Audio systems will support MP3 and WMA formats played from either a CD or DVD that you have burned on your computer.
