Hey guys, haven't posted here before but thought I'd give it a shot with this issue before i drop cash to get it fixed since ya guys seem pretty knowledgeable.

The rear driver's side wheel is toeing in (front end of the wheel is pointing in towards the middle) a decent amount and I'm not sure what's causing it.

Also, when backing up, the car makes a loud high-pitched screeching noise (almost like a horn) and makes a quiet grinding sometimes while driving which I can stop by tapping on the brakes.
Sounds like the crookedness of the wheel is causing the top of the caliper or wheel guard to rub either against the control arm or the rotor.

Anyway, the sounds aren't the concern.

I went to get my oil changed at a quick pull through place and asked their opinion. He said it was a "trail" arm issue (I think).. but said it could not easily be repaired by 1 person due to the independent suspension in the rear.

Anyone seen this happen before and know what I can do?

If pictures would help I can work on it asap.

ya a easy to replace bushing may have failed in the front of the trailing arm.

the noise sounds to me like a seperate problem and 1 that may be fixed by having the rear brakes replaced.

dont forget to get a alignment when done.

Hey acuralegend, thanks for the reply..Just noticed it now..

The noise I was hearing started when I noticed the wheel was toe in, but it may be a coincidence.
I was thinking that due to the misalignment, the brakes were rubbing against something.

Also, I meant that I can take pictures if it would help diagnose the problem.

did you try just simply getting your wheels aligned? or your breaks replaced?
