I need some help please. My 98 2.3CL. Yesterday morning i turned on my car to warm it up. Turns on fine. While scrapping the snow off of the car all of the sudden my car turns off on me. I try starting the car right away. Nothing. No crank. No click. And my battery seems fine. None of my lights are dim what so ever. Ten minutes later I try starting my car and it starts without a problem. I give it a little gas and after I let go the car turned off again. As of then it hasn't turned on. Does anyone know wat this could be?

it sounds to me like the alarm system is kicking in and shutting you down. thinking its being stolen or something.
a module running that may have gone flakie.
could your charging system be overcharging and as a safty precaution its shutting off the car?
corrosion in the fuse box can cause so weird stuff as well.
is some one playing a prank on you and hitting the remote from inside the house?

yes hondas/acuras do have a history of bad ignition switches.
and if you have a ton of keys on your ring it can reak havoc to them.
but i just ripped out a clifford alarm system from a 92 tegra today because it was doing almost the same thing.
if it allowed the car to start it would shut down after a few min.
this system disabled the fuel and starter and ignition.
sounds like its time to get a tow to a repitable shop and have them check it out.
with what you told me on how it runs and dies then wont do a
thing. i would suspect a aftermarket alarm first befor all other.

I had an identical problem to a vehicle I once had. It ended up being a cracked relay that intermittently caused the car to die/not start. I got the cracked relay repaired (as I was on vacation and couldn't afford the time it took to order a new one) and it was great for the next 5 years till I sold it. The extreme cold weather may have done it to you, just an idea.
