So, I don't know what's up with my transmission and I want some opinions.
I drive a 1997 Acura 3.0CL, scary right? Well, here's my dilemma. When I drive the car with the AC on, it shifts perfect, drives like I expected an Acura to. Without the AC on, it seems to like to "slip" 500 or so RPM before shifting between gears. It also likes to "clunk" into one gear or another if I feather on and off the throttle in a coasting type situation. Is the ECM retarded? Or is my transmission about to take a crap on me? |
if you can make it not slip with the AC on then im betting on a wiring issue. like a bad engine/chassis ground.
if you keep driving it with it slipping it will be a junk tranny in no time. get that fixed asap. |
