Have a 2003 cl-s. bought the car with 28k miles and put on 40k miles in about a year. problem i am having is my oem rotors had to be machined three times in one year. the third time i just replaced them for discitalia slotted and drilled rotos with ceramicool pads. i have had that combo for 12k miles and am starting to feel pulsation again. i am totally lost and get the feeling it isn't the rotors. i do not drive crazy, just a normal everday driver that puts on a lot of highway miles. HELP!

I think its also depends on the humidity where you live. Also, if you live somewhere with lots of dust it may be very hard to avoid squeaks. also be sure to clean the brakes with brake cleaner (the black
brake dust can cause noise). also when you have new pads and rotors
installed try braking very hard a couple of times to brake them in.
also, if you get rotors that are improperly machined then it can cause squeaks then worn out. The best thing to do is get high quality brake pads and new rotors.

You can also try, porcelain brake pad. The idea of this product is to quiet cars that have
a rep. for squealing or grinding. You can usually find Wagner brake
products at most auto part store but not at Auto Zone.

Is the pulsation in your brake pedal or your steering wheel? did the shop recomend the 3 grinds on your rotors or were the last 2 because the problem wasn't resolved? Let us know.

Dude, did you read the persons post? It had nothing to do with your post. The guys post was talkingabout a shudder in the brakes not sqeeks or cleanliness.

problem was never resolved. pulsation is mostly in the pedal, but does occur at the wheel sometimes.
