Default 2003 3.2CL - IAC Valve replacement

Hi,

I had my car stand in my driveway for about 9 months. It was started up every couple of weeks, but that wasn't enough and the battery died about 5 months ago. Today I got a new battery, and started driving it again. The check engine light was on, and when I went to the dealer they told me I need a new IAC Valve, because it was building up carbon inside. Code 0505.

Does anyone have recommendations on how easy this is to replace myself, any advice about whether I should replace it to begin with, or any other comments?

Thank you in advance
