2007 TL Brakes wear out fast
#1
2007 TL Type-S 5AT: At 13,000 miles (21,000 kilometers) the dealer tells me the brakes are at 35% ... Wow! that seems like excessive wear, but they say nothing is wrong with it ... but down to 35 % at only 13,000 miles? I very rarely make sudden stops, but I am in HEAVY traffic all the time so I am using the brakes alot ... still ....
Also where is best to service these beasts. I can't afford this maintenance! The A1 service cost me 110 and the B1 cost over 200. I used to drive a 5.7 L Z28 , and I USED to think maint was expensive on that, but oil changes were around 50 bucks and they did basically all the things on a B1 maintenance list for that!

You must live in stop & go traffic. I've got a 96 TL and I am on my second set of brakes - both front and rear. Still on the original rotors. It has 94K miles on it.
For service, find a good indy that has the equipment to reset the service intervals on the computer. They don't call the dealers "Stealers" for nothin'.
If you think Acura service is expensive, try owning a Porsche. Oil changes on my Boxster S are $400 at the dealer. Of course it does use 10 qts of Mobil1. Now that it is out of warranty, I do it myself for $40.
