I have been having shifting issues with my 1999 CL for some time now. It seems as if the transmission is not being "told" when to shift. It will over rev and be hesitant to shift between gears. It also, when you go from park to drive will hesitate a couple seconds before it actually goes into gear. Can anyone help? Sometimes it drives fine...sometimes it barely moves. The only code that's being thown currently is for the charging system. A friend told me that the alternator could be bad and not putting enough charge to the system which would mess up the selenoids? Doesn't sound right to me....
